    New from Tucson

    Just bought a black 95 Katana 600 a few days ago. It's been down a couple times before and is a little rough around the edges but it was a decent deal. It's not running at the moment, I'm in the process of cleaning it up and my buddies and I determined so far that it needs a new set of plugs and coils. We barely got it running lastnight for about 2 minutes, but the 2 middle cylinders aren't firing.

    It's not much to look at, but I'll post a couple pics when I get home.

    Anyways this is my first bike, but I'm looking forward to the day that it starts running solid and I can go on some rides with my buddies. Looking forward to joining the discussions

                    Thanks for the welcomes guys!

                    Well the local dealerships don't have the plugs or coil in stock, they wanted to order them for $40 for iridium NGK plugs and $85 for the right side coil pack.

                    So I think what I'm going to do is buy the plugs from CyberPoet and search ebay for the coil packs. I've found a few different options so far.

                    Pics are attached as promised, the fairings are pretty rough but I removed them the other day and I've been able to clean up everything underneath them pretty well so far. And there's nothing I can do until the parts get here so I'm sure I'll be spending a lot more time cleaning lol.
