So I found an amazing deal on a 91 Katana with a 92 GSXR600 engine in it from a friend going through a divorce needing money so I picked it up for $350. It had been sitting for almost a year so I did the ussual maint "changed plugs new gas new battery new chain" and various other things and got it running but on the first ride it bogged down on me really bad so now it is in the shop having the carbs rebuilt all the fluids and filters changed and basically everything they can find wrong fixed. within reason of course. I cannot wait to take it on a decent first date if you will. anyway I just wanted to say hello since I just found this forum and to ask if anyone lives in eastern North Carolina. I am looking for other Kat riders to ride with.
