  • Howdy from Nova Scotia

Hellooo to everyone. I've lurked a few days, and this seems like a great forum.

I have a 1993 Katana 750. Brought it home yesterday Its my first two-wheeler equipped with its own motor. The bike has 22K km, is stock, and is black 8). Runs ok but is a trifle smelly, idle is slightly lumpy (I think -- but hey, its my first motorbike), and I have no service records. I think I might be investigating the carbs and valves soon. In the mean time, I dumped Redline fuel system cleaner into the tank and will administer an 'italian tuneup'

Here she is (and ain't she purdy):

Hey -- thanks for the greetings, everyone.

Last night's commute was my first ride in the rain... in the dark. A little exciting Where are the wipers?

Another 50km this morning and the bike seems to be running better already...
Now, on to investigating luggage and the best way to make those mirrors show the road instead of my arms.

                  ciao-

Thanks! I ran across your old Motopak luggage thread in a search.
Now that you have a little mileage and use on the bags, what is your impression? (posted a message in your motopak thread about this too).
