Just purchased a 89 GSX750f yesterday, 18,000kms,Vance&Hines SS2r exhaust with a stage 1 jet kit..........other than that its stock.
My last bike was a 500cc cruiser, so you can imagine how much I am enjoying the Kat :P

Ok.......its been a week now since I purchased the bike. I have enjoyed every minute.

I have however found one negative......my previous bike was a Virago500 cruiser......now I could ride pretty much anywhere and get smiles and waves........but for some reason, people see a sportbike and either want to race me(in their car) or they want to run me off the road.

I am a sensible rider, not racing from light to light, but I get the feeling that people are generalizing in their perception of the sportbike rider.
