Big Country Boy that Likes to go Fast

What's up ya'll? Just a big country boy from Southern AR, just move to Little Rock. Been riding for a couple years, Just bought my first bike last year in July.

2005 Katana 600.

Got a Yoshimura RS-3 slip on from a GSX-R750, suprising like didn't take much fab. to get it to fit, just one cut and a little welding and I got me a mean sounding Kat.

I'm debating on getting the Jet Kit and a full Exaust, but someone told me it'll boost acceleration, but take away from top end. It'll only run 136mph! How much will it loose?

Where in Little Rock are you? I grew up right outside of Little Rock. We also have a couple of members on here that are pretty close to there.

Getting a Jet Kit and full exhaust will not take away from your top end. It will boost your mid range acceleration, but will also add a little punch to the top of the rpm scale. Only thing that will really affect your top end SPEED is your gearing.
