  • New kat surfaces in Ohio

New kat owner in ohio. Had been looking for a sport bike. Ran across a good deal with cash in hand and here I am. Got me a 1988 Suzuki Katana 600. Basically in all original condition. Blue and white. 18,000 miles. Been dropped on each side, but never laid down, or so it appears. Runs, but the carbs are gunked. Got it in drydock right now. More to come on the rebirth of the old kat.

Welcome pole kat. It's good to see someone else with an 88. I feel like mine is an antique with all the newer kats on here.

have a Vance & Hines SSR2 on the way with K & N filter. Ordered new jets. Am in the process of fixing all the little mismatched screws, insulators, etc that owner 1 and 2 should of just left alone. Ordered a set of white face gauges from orange1200. Today I'm plastic welding the fairing parts to get ready to apply a nice paint job. I'll throw some pics at you guys as the process carries on.
