i just bought a 1998 kat for $1100.00, but the bad boy doesnt run. i figure if i spend 800 getting it fixed i still come out on top. right? this is my first bike and i have no idea where the VID # is located, can you guys help me out?

Most of time it is on a plate maybe black with silver writing mine is on the frame. Also check the title (I am from NY and we have titles issued when selling) it should be a 16 set with numbers and letters. I found mine near the front upper cowl."Wait you are hitting me for something I might do"
