Where to find a good headlight?

I'm looking for a new headlight for my 97 Streetfighter. My bike came with this and it is just terrible. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Street-fight...14e1e5&vxp=mtr
I was looking for something DOT approved and I found this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/FAIRING-HEAD...8ee4b3&vxp=mtr
Has anyone used this? Does anyone have anything they would recommend?

The ad says it is not dot approved. I have always thought the simple round headlights look nicer than the odd shaped plastic ones

Wow, you're totally right. I skipped over the "not" when I was reading it. I've never been a big fan of the big round headlights. Maybe I'll just end up making my own.

If you want something DOT approved (aka not completely useless) you will likely want to purchase a headlight assembly that came off of another bike.

I really don't see how people like the look of that. To me it jut make the bike look old. Now perhaps if it had an HID in it....
