  • My first bike and its a streetfighter-(project)

    1990 gsx750
First bought the bike for 500 no title. It had been used as a stunt bike after it was totaled in an accident that destroyed the front end. It only came with some fairings on it and I've always liked fighters so I started on this. My carbs were efffed so I ripped into them and found the previous owner had mismatched all the o-rings and the float heights. Basicly the bike looked like hellen keller had gotten ahold of it and a wrench. These are the pictures I have so far and what I have done. The bike is now titled and has about 18k on it

                Update**
Ripped the ugly head gear looking cage off the front and put two lights in a ducatti style on the front and made a new gauge cluster

The gauge cluster wrapped in camo print

Ill have to look and ill get back to you but i used the existing wiring harness and wired one side as the running light and the other as the brake light. There should be 3 wires one of them goes to the license plate light and i hooked that into a white led strip on my plate

                        Update*

I decided to lose the junk paint job and sprayed everything with a dark emerald flake green and used a gloss clear. This is post paint without any sanding or buffing. I also found out that the tailight setup i have is illiegal in my state so i have to get an r1 integrated tail.
