  • Would a bandit triple tree fit on a pre 600 Kat's forks?

And if so which years? A shop is getting in a salvaged bandit and I might snag the triple tree and run some dirt-bike bars. Just want to make sure before I rip **** apart!

I found an Ebay item, that should be the same for reference:

I'm not opposed to keeping clip-ons but I need a new top tree all the same and I think I'd like some straight or drag bars! Any input would be great!!1

Go to RonAyers.com and cross reference the part #, most of the parts between the two bikes are interchangeable as they are the same bike.
90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.

Is there a special way to use this site? What part # do you put in? I can't get anything reliable.

I prefer bikebandit.com myself...the fiches there are much better.

BikeBandit doesn't have the "Were Used" link. BTW BikeBandit and Ron Ayers use the EXACT same fiche. It's published by Suzuki. Except Ron Ayers uses the real part number and BikeBandit makes the number up.

Thanks. Is it just me or is there absolutely no triple tree part in there? I can't find it on any of the diagrams...

The bandit has 43MM forks while the kat has 41MM forks.
