Don't have that much to spend on it though, so if it goes for stupid high I'm gonna miss out.

I paid $850 for my setup. Complete, 2003 with 23k. Im curious to see how much that goes for.

That's about a 3.5 hour trip from me, but I really don't have the money to spend on it. Aside from that, I really need more experience with my 600 before I start considering something like a 1200. I should probably also get the rest of the loan paid off before doing a swap like that.

I should stop looking up engine stuff for now.

The issue is that he wants 500 clams for said motor and assembley, doesn't seem terribly high to me, but still plenty of money seeing as that's how much I bought the bike for. So here is where I am at, What would a fair price for a 95 Katana 600 Engine and setup be, If I can get enough out of my engine setup I would be more than happy to pony up the coin to make up the difference, say $100.00 or so, but I really think my engine setup could sell for $500.00 and I could break even. What do you guys think? worth a shot?
A pre98 600 engine reasonably goes for about $200 if it's solid. If it's miled out, or been down or anything, it goes down from there.
