Guess those mirrors are intended for Pre98s. Ugh. The ones for post 98s are pretty expensive, like $70Green 2000 Suzuki Katana - First Bike - Project Link: http://katriders.com/vb/showthread.php?t=113759

Badfaerie's bikes... both the ninja 250 and her new to her Pre Kat 600 use them. They work fine, and just stick on. Takes 1-2 days for the glue to make a firm hold (might have to check and push them down once or twice), but then they don't come off unless you want them off.

WOOOHHH!!!! FINALLY GOT TO TAKE THE BIKE OUT! But only for about 3 minutes. Heres what we did yesterday:
-Put the tires on the bike
-Put rear and front turn signals on
-Replaced a couple of bolts
-Put on front fender
-Fixed an exhaust leak
I had two problems: No inurance/plates, and the other is I had to DJ a charity event. I had to leave at 2pm, we got the bike finished at 1:50pm. So barely had any time. The mirrors suck, so bad, hopefully the OEM replacements come soon. But otherwise it was a very smooth ride, and it looks great. Didnt have time for pictures, and it needs a small bit of cleaning up, just some dust and dirt from being worked on in the garage. If I didnt have exams on tuesday, Id be on the phone with the insurance right now, and then trying to break into the DMV to get plates (it sunday)Green 2000 Suzuki Katana - First Bike - Project Link: http://katriders.com/vb/showthread.php?t=113759

Went over to see my baby yesterday. Switched the mirrors, put on the gas cover pad, and took her out for a quick test spin. Shes running smooth, little bit of clanking, I need to tighten the header bolts, which Im gonna do tommorow after I get the right wrench. I DO FINNALLY HAVE PICS!! WOOOO! These were taken on my phone, when there was really crappy weather out. Ill get my step moms $2k camera and take photos when she gets back from florida, and Im sure they will look a lot better
