got the tank paid for tonight. so now im just waiting on on parts to come in the mail(tank, tail lights, and seat). So all that is left is to pay to have the non-matching body pieces painted to match my mains, belly and front fender and then pay thazkat for his labor. i should get my tax returns sometime during the second week of february to take care of paint and thazkat. So all in all this project is just about done. just have to put everything back together at this point! There might be a couple small things to order before this thing is finished like decals and some carbon fiber accents but really the project is in the home stretch.Chrome Project Part 1

All in all things are looking good at this point. I am having a bit of anxiety myself to see how it all comes together. I will get some pictures of the rear wheel, it went on the bike just the other day.TDA Racing/Motorsports

So whatever happened with the loose plug wire and the extra engine? Issue solved?90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.

well what we did was take the first 1127 out and put the new one with less miles in. i gave the first 1127 to thazkat for some of the labor once he fired up the first engine to confirm it was a loose plug wire.Chrome Project Part 1

Forks on bike, front wheel mounted, calipers on, shift kit installed, exhaust installed today. I had a small problem with the carbs not wanting to go back to idle, so I figured it out, it was the butterflies. The person mike bought the carbs from must have rebuilt them then posted them for sale. I have the exhaust bracket to make, now that I know where the muffler is going to hang. License plate lights to hook up, led's. Was going to hang the oil cooler today but realized that we went to a 750 cooler and the lines are different at the top. Wasn't to concerned with the cooler til now.
Good news is, the bike is sitting on the ground, on its own tires now!
I hope to have pix tomorrow! That is if mike makes it up here with camera in hand!TDA Racing/Motorsports
