  • Opinions on Chinese lock sets

Well it turns out the locksmith wasn't able to make the key. I was going to go the eBay route as my seat lock doesn't match my ignition anyways. I found a set with keys from China for $35 Hahahaha. I also found a set that is OEM for $70 or so. Should I go China or OEM? Has anyone heard anything bad about Chinese ignitions. Either way I'm going to take it to a different locksmith tomorrow.

My Chinese ignition lock did not have the wires in the right order. Had to cut the plug off and hard wire the switch.

The Chinese wiring does not conform to anything. Try to get a real one first, used if you must. I try with everything I have not to buy Chinese shit.....
