Does anyone know whether the 97 katana 600 parts are compatible with the 92 katana 600. I need fairings and other miscellaneous parts and a friend has the
97 that he wants to sell me.

Yes, only electrical changes were made for 96-97 models. If I remember correctly, the cams and chain also changed for 96-97.
