Lost only key for bike

Lost my only key for the bike, had it at a buddys house and he doesnt know where it went and idk what to do in this situation.

Any part of the bike they duplicate the key from besides the ignition?

If it's the OEM key system, it should fit the whole bike so, any part that uses the key could be used to dup a key.

Get at least two this time. Don't leave the second key at a "buddies" house.

I bought the bike with only 1 key, left the bike in my buddies garage to do some work and when i went to pick it the key was gone.

Called a locksmith $220 for new keys to be made

The problem is going to be trying to get all that crap off without the key, not easy. Harder on the 750 & 1100 due to the seat design.

Well i appreciate the input but locksmith has the ignition already so no turning back now, i was also wondering about paying $220 for key thats not chipped, seems very steep to me but i dont have much of a choice at this point. In the future if i ever have anything with only 1 key damn straight ill be making atleast 1 or 2 more copies day of purchase lol.
