I bought this beast for 400 bucks in idaho. Didnt run but once i got it home i had it running with a new battery. The rear of the frame was damages so I chopped it off(wish i didnt). Gas tank was full of rust so the bike has been sitting for about 3 or 4 years since i bought it and rode it maybe 100 miles.
Well i found a good gas tank and a decent 4 to 1 exhaust for it on craigslist locally so i bought them and now its alive and scary sounding as ever. The bike is not pretty by any means but sure is fun! I had a 91 gsx1100 and a 03 cbr 954rr that i just sold and wanted to get the 600 running.
Like i said its not pretty but it runs and handles amazing!
I have upgraded the rear suspension majorly without any mods to the bike. A 2006 cbr 600 rear shock will bolt right up and only raise the rear 1/2 inch and helps a ton with handling.
Let me know what you guys think. I just put all the plastics back on and ill take another picture soon of that.
