Hi have a 99 katana with 70,065 miles on it . I noticed that when you go into 5k or 6k there is a rattle coming from the engine. What side I have no idea. I got to thinking it may be the cam chain ..... If its loose , is there a way to tighten it ?

The easy way is to remove the plug nut and push the plunger in and reassemble. With that said, you may need to replace the tensioner spring, they tend to loose some push."I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you when I called you stupid. I thought you already knew..."
