I'm kinda jealous of y'all with low mileage kats... my 06 has 35,537 on it and not a single mile has been put on it by me yet

low mileage on a bike, especially a carbureted one, isn't all that great. it means the bike sits a lot. sitting a lot for something with carbs leads to things settling and eventually gumming up the carbs.

your bike isn't even fully broke in yet....

I just bought a '92 600 with 34K miles. Everything has tested well. Compression is all over 150 PSI. I just fully rebuilt the carbs. What kind of life can I expect from this engine?

That's good to know. I won't expect to have to do any major work to the motor then. If I take care of it, it will take care of me.

I sold my 2001 750 last year and I put 78,000+ miles on it.

No issues with it during that time. Well none that were Suzuki related.

bought mine last year with 9 k on it . now at 21+ its still behaving . it could use a clutch cable adjustment . replaced tires and a battery,,,, that's it . my kat is a commuter mostly . I say that going to work every day is just something to do between rides.
