  • Hole in front signal...

Ok so I bought my Kat about 1 1/2 years ago and when I got it one of the front signal had a hole in it big enough that I could put my finger in it. I've been planning on replacing it, but I'm curious can it it be fixed? I haven't been "harassed" by local popo but I have been told it needs to be taken care of.

Dude, it's a front turn signal. Here's how you fix it. Buy a new one, replace, problem solved.

Throw some clear packing tape on it, then use orange felt marker.... or just go buy a new lense.

          fixed that for ya...

You could have been ticketed for that any time over the last 18 months of riding. The rule in every state I've been to is that the turn signals should be yellow so other drivers can differentiate them from the headlight. If you go with clear lenses then you'll need yellow tinted bulbs.
