I just looked up the snake. In 14 years of living in Arkansas I'd never heard of it. Ridden all over that area, though. That's definitely on my list when I get back there next year!

Yeah, definitely a must haha. It happened too fast to be scary but seeing my bike down there was terrible.

Thanks for everything guys. I'm probably gonna end up buying a fairing set from eBay or seeing about a new bike. Not sure yet.

Thanks guys I'm pretty glad that I didn't go down with the bike. That would've been painful. The helmet only hit where the visor quick release twisty thing is.

Even a slight fall of a helmet can damage it. it might just look like a scrach but the thing did its job. don't chance it, replace it
