  • Painting my Kat

So I decided to go with yellow and black on my Katana. Yellow being the main color. My cousin will be doing the paint job and he says using a spray can primer will work just fine. Any suggestions or criticism on this? And is there a certain type of primer that works best on plastics? Please share your opinions!

I used perfect match color spray paint on my fairings and rims. Turned out pretty good. Didn't use no clear at all on rims or fairings though.... Fairing orange peeled when I tested it on my tail right. So no Krylon clear (for metal and plastic) for the clear. That's as far as I got.
Seems, every time I fix something something else goes wrong. Guess that's why forums were made.
    Lol.
