  • I'm curious about air vents function?

I recently had to replace my t-tubes for the carbs for the air vent hoses to be attached to.

Now I'm wondering about those air vent hoses on the carbs and airbox. Does the air flow out from carbs and airbox or do air flow into the carbs and airbox through their respective air vent hoses??

Ha, I am wondering how that works??

They allow for pressure equalization in the bowls as fuel levels change. If no vents, then air could be trapped preventing fuel from filling the bowl.

There isn't much of a "flow" per say. The hoses route fuel away from the hot parts if the bike is tipped over, as it's the easy out point for the fuel in the bowls.
