Does anyone have any installed on their bikes?

i have seen a few kits out there but they all look kinda cheap. i was looking for a style more like on cars.

    has anyone seen any?

I assume you are talking about tire pressure monitoring systems.

Most I see that are aftermarket have ugly gargantuan sensors that mount on the valve stems. I would avoid them. I like a good gauge and just check tires daily, takes 1 min while bike is warming.

I ummm...check my pressure about thrice a season. Once on the first ride if they feel dodgy, and twice more when my idiot friends get paranoid about thier tires, which leads me to getting paranoid.

        I check mine 3 times a week.
90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.

One of the super twins, Beakman or Speddy installed them.
it's a band that goes around the hub (inside the tire) and sends the signal to the read out.
I guess the tire spinning actually powers the unit.

I check my tires with a gauge also.

so i guess the answer is no.

Yeah i check mine regularly as well. but i figured it would be cool i you could buy a good system that actually gets installed into the rim and would give real time updates as to pressure and temp.

The only kit I've really seen is from Aerostich....

but for $200 I can manage to check pressure myself.

Double checking... it looks like 'stich discontinued them....

I just bought a decent digital tire gage with a nice heavy duty case.
