    welcome to KR
    take a look at these
Search function is your friend, if you can think it its probably already been discused

Can't get it to run right? Find a trick to add HP?
From the first oil change to completely rebuilding the engine,
this is the place to talk about the heart of the beast!

It has APE cylinder studs and main bearing studs, Carrillo H Beam connecting rods, and the cylinder head is ported. I'm asking $1000 for it. The Carrillo con rods alone are worth more than that, so it's a fair price. You'll need a rear brake pedal, a shift lever a few other random little stuff, but this is a complete engine. Oh yeah, you'll have to pick it up in IL, I'm not gonna ship it. Oh, you'll need carbs too

Hey arsenic, what about CDI box and wiring harness? Have to admit I haven't done any engine swaps on a bike. (If I feel the need for a bigger engine I generally think in terms of buying one wrapped in a bike.)

Well, I have a used Dyna 2000 ignition also. As far has the harness, as long as everything plugs in, that can stay, switching it is optional.

The frame still looks the same to me

Chris: That's a beast of an engine, why aren't you putting that in your bike?! Carrillo rods give me a chubby. Why not go to Kibblewhite valves springs and retainers while you're at it?
