Hey there guys... I had no idea where to put this information, but I thought some people might be interested, as I definately was.
I was strolling through WalMart the other day and while looking through the toy isle for a deck of Uno cards for my step brother I came across mini models of all different kinds of sportbikes, and sportcruisers (hyabusa to ninja).
They only cost $3.00, and are about the size of you hand. You can remove all of the fairings and wheels and other parts.... so I figured people might be interested in getting one to custom paint as a replica of thier larger motorcycle?
Anyways, I found one that looks almost identical to a blend of the pre-98 600&750 Katanas.
It has the rear tail of a 750, and the front fairings almost matching the 600. Single outlet pipe of the 750, and the windshield and single headlight of the 600.
Here is where I stand right now on my custom bike creation, I have done a rear license plate delete on it just like on my bike, and I have sprayed the wheels and the fairings all with the black metallic that I painted my real Katana with: (I still have to paint the handlebar ends, and a few other pieces to match... and very carefully write the word Katana on it on the fairing)
Enjoy, let me know what you think!
First: my real Kat for reference.

Now here is the model I'm currently working on... it is not done yet, so I know there are still small differences to be changed:
