I am getting everything ready to paint my fairings, but I don't know a lick about painting. I've look at all the threads that I could think would have something to write about painting. Unfortunately there is not a How-To from beginning to end on how to do just a solid paint job. Unless I am missing something, I have looked at several outside source websites on how to paint. I was hoping to read something on how to paint Katana fairings, hopefully some of you folks would have some do's and don't or know a good site with instructions or maybe even a video journal. I appreciate the help.

The primer coat must be sanded to perfection. After sanding all the defects out of the primer, I find that the final primer sanding is best done with a green Scoth Brite pad. After that, wipe the panels with alcohol. Wipe the alcohol on with one cloth, and immediately wipe until dry with a dry clean cloth. Preferably lint-free.
