Streetfighter ??????

Got a 03 kat for free that had been bashed, crashed, spray bombed (many times) and sat behind a shed for 2 years and I got brought her back to life for my wife. It is her first bike and she LOVES it! Question is: Is there a way to mount the stock speedo on a fighter? She keeps SPEEDING!!!!! I had to chase her down yesterday doing over a 100mph! She said she had no idea she was going so fast.

Im new can a mod move this to the Streetfighter section I didnt see there was one.

theres a sticky i think about using a cheap bicycle speedo... otherwise zipties and/or craft wire work fine on my poor, beat down, neglected rat of a Katana. i have a koso all in one gauge but im sure you could fasten a stock speedo with craft wire too. also called safety wire, used to hold things on when they wanna vibrate loose.
