hello everyone i am new to posting on this site and new to riding and need some info

i have a 1988 suzuki katana gsx600f and i have only riden about 1 mile so far i am wating for a few parts to come in the mail but was wondering if anyone could tell me if a 2000 suzuki katana 600 exhaust header will fit and bolt directly to my 1988 katana 600 i have been searching all day for some info but i can not find any information on the headers or anything that might be interchangeable reason im am asking is because i paid for an auction i won for a slip on muffler and the header was a separate auction so the header sold to someone else and the muffler i bought and i need a header to go with the muffler but i cant find anything for years 1988 only 2000 and up please help asap if possible.i just need a 4.2.1 header to bolt right on but the only one i found was for 2000 model.thanks for the help everyone hope i can get some info within the next few days
