ok so i have a 91 katana 600 and sometimes when i shift to second it will knock it into neutral a couple seconds later. and other times when i shift to second it grids on the way to second. the clutch doesn't feel like it is shot so what could it be.thanks for all the support

Yep, time to replace the engine or fix the transmission... You have hard parts that are bent/broke....
