Chain

I know this is akin to an oil thread.....but.....do you adjust your chain on the side stand or center stand? I will go with the majority on this one

center stand.

Center stand because I need to turn the rear wheel to check how the chain is riding on the sprocket.

Something to keep in mind on some bikes is that the chain may loosen/tighten when the rear suspension is compressed or relaxed depending on where the swingarm pivots, so you'll need to make sure the chain is still loose enough when the swingarm is at its tightest.
