  • My first Kat arrives home...

Finally made the move and found "the deal" i wanted to purchase my first Kat. 2000 model with 7500 miles and I'm thrilled with the outcome of my decision to buy. Spent the last week of so before making the decision looking around on this forum and through all the positive comments decided this was the "one". Almost didn't make it home with it on the trailer from its purchase location 4 hours away. Had stopped to grab a coke and check the trailer at a gas station and as I was pulling away a guy came running across the parking area waving his arms frantically. Thinking maybe he'd seen something wrong with the trailer or bike I stopped and rolled the window down. He asked if he could take a pic of my Katana which then proceeded to "how much do you want for it" question. It really cemented the idea that I had made a good purchase that someone wanted to buy the bike before i could even get it home... And yes, he offered more than I had paid!!!! Really looking to getting out on the road and showing it off. Thanks to everyone who posts on here with questions and answers about their bikes... It does make a difference.
    sorry forgot to mention it's a 600 ( no decal disguise...ha)
