has anyone used Spectro 4 oil?

I got some spectro 4 motorcycle oil, its 10w 40, and it meets A.P.I SL requirements, and JASO MA requirements. I already read if it meets those, its ok to use, but with the oil cooler is it ok to use? Has anyone used it in their kat? I was thinking about using it since I got it (had it for my 1980 gs 750) never finished the rebuild.
