Where do these hoses go???

95 600F. Took the gas tank off to sand and repaint. Disconnected the hoses from the tank with no problem. Was tracing them to become more familiar with the bike and this is what i found: There is a hose connection in the middle of the tank that ends nowhere. There is a brass? cylinder that has an electrical wire coming out of it and a hose connection but this hose also ends nowhere. Can someone help me out with where or if they are supposed to be connected to. In the picture they are labeled 4 and 5.

They are both just vent hoses, it may not have been hooked up mine are gone completely. It won't hurt anything if they aren't there.

Not a vent , but a drain in case the sender seal leaks . That way gas don't leak onto the engine .
