nuvi 265wt gps on katana?

ok my gf just bought me a nice gps for christmas, and i had it im my truck bu since shes driving that now and im on the bike i wanna have the gps on the bike. i need to wire in a 12v socket ( not hard from what i hear) but i want the socket to only have power when the bike is on not al the time. and i need to find some kind mount for the gps i dont really want on that clips on to the bars and sticks really high up ,ideally id like a low profile centered one..... any ideas or suggestions?
