Looks easy enough. Im sure if you went to a sign ship you could get some differnt color vinal scraps for cheap that may even color match the bike.

Once scanned, you might consider sending them to a photo shop for printing, The quality should be much better than a home printer and I would think photo stock paper would work well....then you can laminate.

That is a good idea, maybe even Kinkos. I bet they could do it on vinyl.
IMO vinyl is the best choice.
