  • Fresh from the powder coater!!

Christmas came a little late this year. I picked up my stuff from the powder coater today, and it looks great. Now I can start putting my bike back together. The guy I took it to came highly recommended by the local independent bike shop, I deal with from time to time, and I would recommend him to anyone in the Portland / Vancouver area. Very reasonably priced and does some nice work, check out his web site. www.vancouverpowdercoating.com
looks like I'll be in the garage tonight.

Parts look great and thanks for the heads up. I use Portland Powder Coat for all my industrial design build projects but had been looking for a smaller motorcycle oriented indepedent shop for two new bike projects I have coming up. I'll have to give Vancouver Powder Coating a call!

This was my first time using a powder coater, and I was impressed with JR the owner at Vancouver PC. He took the time to show me around his shop, and take me through the process, which really put me at ease. I felt the price was pretty good $300 for 22 pieces some of which had previously been powder coated and where probably a little harder to strip.

That's what I'm going for, since it was looking pretty dated. Now I just have to finalize the paint colors and graphics. Lucky for me My son's a professional Painter, so I'll just have to pay for the paint.

This was my first powder coating experience, but after looking over a few coaters price lists, that's what I thought .

I'm not sure, but I noticed a stack of outgoing ups waiting for pickup when I picked up my stuff, and this is his main bussiness, not a sideline.
So I would think so. Give him a call or e-mail him, he's real easy to deal with. www.vancouverpowdercoating.com
