Front turn signal lens

I understand the late model ('06?) Kats had clear turn signal lenses. Are these a direct replacement for the older orange lenses? Anyone have a part # & cost?
I also assume you have to remove the side panel to get at the signal lenses?

the lenses are the same, aside from color on the 1998-06.
06 lenses are clear, with an amber bulb.

fairing need not be removed, they can be removed and replaced from inside the fairing with a stubby phillips head screwdriver.
Just go in by the forks.

from RA they are $49 each.at that price, you can also buy clear alternatives lenses for less... I put smoked clear on mine.

There are companies that make chrome bulbs that glow yellow/amber when activated. Something to keep in mind if you get clear lenses. It keeps the light from having that egg yolk look when the light is not being used.

I'm not 100% sure they make them for the size you need, but may be worth looking into. It makes the effect a lot cooler.

should be able to reach around w/o takin off the fairing, but will be limited room to work with the fairing still on.

thers PLENTY of room, trust me, its how I did mine
just turn the forks.

I'm gonna train my 13 year old son to work on my bike - he's got small enough hands!

I think smoked lenses will really compliment the bike.
