Will the 05 fairings fit on the 98? I'm almost positive they will but i wasn't sure if the mounts changed over the 7 years

yep, they'll fit....the tail sections are different though, but i'm sure you know that
(if you change to the 05 tail, you'll need the tail light from the 03-06 models as well
)

You could just replace the 1157 tail light bulb to a red LED 1157 bulb.. just make sure the diameter of the LED bulb head can fit through the bulb housing. Some have many LEDs, but too wide to fit into the OEM bulb housing.Comment
