    Sounds basic but make sure fuel knob is in on position. aybe someone changed its position. I have heard of this happening. No fuel means cranking until battery is dead.

      oh man...he is going to feel real stupid if that is the problem. i know cuz i have been there.

        it has been on the on position the whole time.

          i took out the battery and went to get it charged up at my friends shop, and after playing around with it and almost giving it up untill i got frustrated and smacked the bike and tried it one last time and it worked.
