  • Proper procedure to warm up my bike

So it's gotten cold in East Texas, maybe 35-40 this morning, and I Was wondering the proper procedure to warm up my bike.
Right now I'm just choking it and leaving it on choke while I put on my gear, then taking it off right before I leave, and this seems to be working well. It bogs for about a minute after taking the choke off but after that it seems to run fine.
I just want to make sure I'm doing it right to get the best life out of my engine.
Let me know if y'all have any suggestions.

Most with a temp gauge wait till it reads 125- 150 and then its warm , at least 125...now with the kat for me it like 3-4 min. and no more then 5-6

that works for me, I find my bike liked 3/4 choke or less (this was during the summer) , and I slowly reduce to no choke over the course of a few minutes.

          What oil are you running?

Every machine likes it different :P When was the last time your carbs were cleaned?
