      I would actually go down a gear or 2 and let the engine rev a little more. 4500 is out of the power band for the bike and if you have to do any 'emergency evasions' you will want to be closer to where the power is.
      I usually ride in whatever gear lets me keep the engine around 6k for the speed I am going.

        I had an 02 and an 04 GSXR 750.. 137 hp. No comparison.

          1986 gixxer motor if I recall...

            Any Gixxer engine older than 1993 is oil/air cooled and is basically the same as the Kat engine.
