  • I was hoping to roll the Odometer

    but looks like I'm stuck

no odometer, no trip meters, everything's frozen from when I hit 99,999 after finishing the Cabot trail.

Congratulations!!! That's a lot of miles to rack up on 2 wheels. Good job!

I seem to remember someone else (can't remember who now) doing the same thing and there is no reset or rolling of the odometer. I think I remember him having to buy a new speedometer to continue counting his miles. Seems kinda crazy to me though, I would think the dealer could go in and reset it somehow for a legitimate reason like that.

      Wow! nice job!

sucks that you have no trip meter or anything now though
It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride.

Have you talked with a dealer to see if it can be fixed or reset?

try to un plug it from the socket and re plug it in in a couple of days

if there is an onboard battery it should die by then

                        99 999 kilometers = 62 136.4979 miles

As for "getting it reset" It's impossible. I remember reading the threads about it in the past. His only option is to get another speedo.

Nothing's impossible. I bet he can find some teenage nerd with hacking skillz to fix that right up.

maybe this wouldn't be a issue if it clocked miles instead on km's
