Well, I saw the other camera mount post and I figured Id post up my solution....it costs 20-30 bucks and can be found at Best Buy, Walmart, etc.

The suction cup is just small enough to fit on a gauge...so you just lose one of your gauges while the mount is on...afterwards the clamp clamps onto anything....gps, camera, phone, etc.
I just rode 350 miles using that mount for my phone which I was using as a GPS and it was really nice...I mounted it on my gas gauge since I don't really need it.
Just thought I'd share, I'll have some pictures up soon.
P.S. The mount kit comes with a little plate you can screw into whatever you want so you can have a permanent solution, then the little clamp thing just slides into that plate. Otherwise, just use the suction cup thing, bend the arm to your will, then slide the clamp on it.
