  • Got my bike home from the shop!

Finally got my bike home from my brother in laws friends shop and man what a great ride home she runs beautiful she's a lot faster than i imagined and very smooth. All I have left to do is the fork seals and mechanically she is set! The bike has a lot more balls than i could ever need I was really surprised because i used to ride a Honda ACE 750 which is really slow. I'm excited and very happy so was my daughter we went for a short ride and she loved it.

Well i couldn't be so lucky i guess. My Dad hit my bike with his truck knocked it over screwing up the paint on the left fairing, broke the mirror, Put a dent in my tank! I'm ****ed now the body on this bike was fine before this. That dent in the tank may be costly. It's not large but it's not like you can just bondo that dent it has nothing to hold to. I'm really ****ed of right now.

Take the tank to a body shop Guarenteed they can fix it and paint match...When I did bodywork I have a tool that spot welds small pins in the center of the dent then I used a slide hammer to pull it out then bondo ...you could never tell it was dented when Done and painted ....

BTW make yer dad pay for it ...I would

Also you can fill the tank about 3/4 full of water, then pressurize the tank with air and use a small ball hammer and tap lightly around the dent creases and the dent with slowly pull itself out just take your time, maybe use some electrical tape where you are tapping to prevent paint breaking.
