I am trying to find out the quarter mile and 0-60 times for a 2005 750 Kantana....everything I find is dated 1997, are these numbers still accurate or can anyone tell me where to find new times?

From the December 2002 issue of Motorcycle Consumer News a July 1998 test of the 750 Katana showed a 143 mph top speed, 0 - 60 mph in 3.52 seconds, 0 - 100 in 8.67 sec, quarter mile in 11.52 [email protected] mph.
Also, in that issue, a July, 1998 test of the 600 Katana had a 134 mph top speed, 0-60 in 4.12 seconds, 0 -100 in 10.81 sec., and quarter mile in 12.25 sec @108.40 mph.
Wet weight for the 750 was 518 lbs., vs 507 for the 600.
Presumably, a July 1998 test would be of 1998 models.

I have a03 750 and my best 1/4 mile last year was 11.69 sec. However my top speed was 260 km/h as my speedo showed. However I don't know how accurate are our speedometers. I know that on most bikes they're optimistic , around 2-3%.

Spyder, see the discussion on bike weight in the topic nearby topic on "weight" regarding the hitch carrier. Wet weight at any one time depends on fluid levels, especially gasoline. The dry weight for the new model Kats is 458 lbs and 465 lbs for the 600 and 750 respectively. From memory.
