chrome grab bar?

  • chrome grab bar?

    does anyone know where to find a chrome passenger grab bar for my 06 kat?found one a while back,and now i cant remember where it was...any info would be great.thanks

        usually there can be one floating around ebay but i dont see one at the moment so you can either wait for one to pop up or send yours to be chrome plated. i got my kickstand done by www.alum-a-chrome.com ive had it for a season now and the chrome isnt peeling at the bottom or anything. the wheels i had done by them started to peel but that was more then likely due to the fact the shop didnt attach the rear brake(long story...search screw this shop).

          so you would recomend the chrome shop or not?

            Why don't you just strip and polish it? You can do it in a day and it won't cost you much.

              Find a local plating shop and take it to them. Shouldn't cost that much.

                yeah i would recommend them but i would send it to them now or you won't it back til march.

                    I had mine, stripped, polished, and chromed for about $30.
                    This "Phat Chick" rides her own!!!
                    BTW, I think they may have been correct. It does appear that BLACK is indeed the FASTEST color. R.O.R...R.I.P.M

                      dont really like the polished look,dont seem to have the shine of chrome,from what ive saw.

                              My bad for the delayed response.....I took some time off for the holidays.

                              Yep, those are the folks that did my bar. They stripped and dipped for $30. They did my bar ends as well.
