  • Best riding day I have had yet.

I have had my endorsement since March, but really only riding full time for six weeks. I would always ride when I could, but this summer I was a stay at home mom to a toddler until school started. Now I commute to school on the Kat.

I seemed to be in sync with my bike. The accelerating, breaking, shifting, turns were all smooth. I am really getting good at learning to turn without having to slow down too much. I am learning to trust my bike, and my own ability to ride my Kat.

When I rode into the driveway my husband was standing there and I had a big grin on my face.

...it was a good day on the back of my Kat. I am officially addicted (no news there).

I love good days like that when you're coming close to being home and then you're like hmm maybe another mile out of the way would be good, lol.

I can't tell you how many times the temptation to skip class and keep going down I40 to the mountains almost overcame me! LOL!

I was so tempted to call in to work the day after I brought mine home, instead I went to work and wished all day it was time to leave....

That's really cool. How far is it to the mountains where you're at?

I was hooked as a kid, and even more so when i finally got my endorsement 18 years ago. I wake up in the morning wondering if I'm gonna get a skoot out today. Workin in the garage i wanna just drop what i'm doin and get on one of the skoots and go. The winter seems to go on forever and spring will never come.

Once riding is in your blood, you want to ride every chance that you can get. At least that is the way that I am. I enjoy riding immensely.

It's all about the ride. I'll be going through a depression when the snow hits. It only got to 57F today and I was out cruising since it was sunny....... geez I miss summer already.

I can look at them from my house. It is about 40 minutes to get to the other side where I can ride.

I was wondering if there was good riding up there. I noticed them on the way to Huntsville.
