So far, put on a new chain, and after cutting off the links and getting the length good for a 45 tooth sprocket, noticed that I had a freaking 47 tooth on hand... but oh well..
Also, got the carbs together and visually sync'd up.
Swapped rims to the better ones with good tires.
Installed rear brake pads since they were all metal to metal..
Changed out the choke cable with one that isn't broken..
Gave a front rim, brake lever, and kick stand to my homie gsxfjim for coming out and helping me with my bike today
Still to come, oil change, gasket change, and trying to start 'er up!!!
Edit: forgot,
Swapped seat key/lock mechanisms from a broken one to a excellent one.

Installed my Tmod modified rear 750 shock and greased up everything in the rear for the season.

I just bought an 04 tail assembly with everything included, black....just waiting for the shipment so I can swap out the tail.

I like the factory 01 tail, I just like the 03+ better

Hopefully the black is the same-but it not hopefully close enough

Well, I took my bike for a 250km ride today! I think it liked it cause I sensed that it didn't want to bed.... Oh yah!! that was me LOL I didn't want to put it back in the garage at it was a beautiful day, 14deg C. and the sun was shining.

Let's see...after a day of running around, coaching a baseball practice, was finally able to start wrenching some on the Kat. Got about 3 hours of time in...

- Installed fairing stay
- Mounted headlight
- Mounted gauges and hooked everything up
- Removed the front wheel (new Z6 going on tomorrow)
- Removed the old chain
- Removed the front sprocket cover and sprocket
- Removed the rear wheel

Put the first coat of Chrome powder on my frame, 2nd tomorrow then clear and get her back together.
