    • Slid her front tire out from under her. Who knew three palm sized oak leaves could be so slick. Poor gal. Oh well, nothing alittle glazing and fresh paint can't take recoup. Then, if it's not bad enough already, I parked her in the garage for the whole day. Poor thang.

      • Found a great parts source for my 1100. With that, I also found a good source for mod parts as well.

The best thing I found was what apeared to be a 98 600 Katana with a V&H SS2r oval cannister ....... But no, this chick had had the ultimate boob job performed. Under her clothing she was concealing a GSXR-1100 with extensive work done on the head. In this case, success is definately measured in "hp" ........ 155 RWHP.

I have a new "favorite" place .... 'bout time, my other spot closed 2 years ago.
The people who think they know everything always mess it up for those of us who do .....

        • Zero Gravity Windscreen

I installed the Zero Gravity ST windscreen. I took it for a short ride and it seems to make an improvement but I think I'll have to get a few miles with it befor I know for sure. I like the look of it. It probably takes a little away from that street bike look but I'm fine with that. I also built a really cool bracket for a GPS. It sits right abobe the RPM gauge and doesn't interfere with the visibility at all.

A little throttle and ease out the clutch.

          • I stared at her sitting in the cold today debating whether or not I should pull the back tire and put on the new rotor I bought for it. I decided to wait since I am tryig to sell it and it needs tires anyway so I figured it would be best to replace the tire and the rotor at the same time.

                          1991 600, I just bought it with 31,500 miles.

1 intake had too large of a gap. 1 exhaust had too large of a gap. 1 exhaust had too small of a gap. =]

Edit: Also there was someone here debating on whether the 91's had tappet adjusters or shim under bucket. They definitely have tappet adjusters.

                              • Dropped the petcock, pulled tank, bled front calipers, sorted through main wiring connections that were under tank and gave 'em a shot o' dialectic, making room in smaller shop area on the work table for her. Parts pile is coming together.
